Firemen

In Farenheight 451, firemen dont put out fires, they start them. Everyone is afraid of them to. In our world today they are heroes, they save lives, homes, and cats stuck in trees. Firemen symbolize bravery in our society today. It's really sad that in the future people might not look up to the as we do now, and people might fear them.

Fahrenheit 451 Pgs. 1-24—Discuss Bradbury’s philosophy
Why is he writing this?
He's writing this because he wants to warn the world about what might happen. And give them knowlegde about possibilities, and teach us that books aren't bad. That they are actually are very important part of society.
Books represent knowledge, if there are no books there is no knowledge, and it makes it easier for the government to control people, if they aren't smart enough to figure out that we are being controlled

What is he warning us of?
He's warning us of the future. That if we aren't careful, the world of Farenheight 451, could be the world we live in one day.

What predictions have come true?
The seashells are like ipods. Viewing screens are like t.v's. And they have this technology now where you can respond and decide what will happen to the character's in the book, which is alittle like Mildred's parlor walls.
